SALON POLICIES

APPOINTMENTS

We will contact you via text or email to confirm your appointment. If we do not already have your credit card information on file we will text you to request it. This is required to secure your appointment.

For any appointments for color, make sure you come into the salon with hair that is clean and 100% dry. For any appointments for adding/moving up extensions or for bang trims, make sure to come with dry hair that has been washed that day. This will ensure the quality and proper timing of your scheduled service.

All new hair color clients (that do not book for a haircut with their first color service) will be scheduled that day for a blow-out (+ any styling / waves) with one of our salon apprentices, which will be an additional charge. This enforced salon policy is to ensure your best possible experience at LOVE AND MERCY.

CANCELLATIONS

Appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the service will be charged 100% of the service charge. All cancellations must be made through the online booking system.

PUNCTUALITY

Please text 617-958-8511 if you are going to be late. If you are expecting to be more than 15 minutes late we cannot guarantee that your booked service will be provided. We will, however, do our best to accommodate you. In the event of a late or missed appointment, a full-service charge will apply.

CHANGE OF YOUR HEART POLICY

We understand that sometimes a certain look just isn’t for you. If you change your mind, you must pay to have the service(s) redone. Redos are determined by the original stylist on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of the service. LOVE AND MERCY does not offer refunds for any services done.
