Patty Martin Scheidel has 11 years’ experience in the hair and spa industry. She has worked as a stylist and educator in the New England area for 10 years. Patty is a member of the North America Davines Artistic Team, an elite team of stylists hand-selected for their creative vison, technical abilities, and presentation expertise.
Patty has been working as a stylist in South Boston since 2006. She began her career in Boston as an Apprentice, assisting senior stylists by shampooing clients, drying and styling finished looks, and performing the general background work and cleaning that keeps a salon running. After two years of cutting and coloring Apprenticing through the salon (including a full year of specialized color training under the salon's master colorist), Patty became a Junior Stylist (coloring) and began taking regular clients. At the same time, Patty began working for the local Davines distributor giving product knowledge and color classes at salons throughout New England.
As her skills further developed, her reputation grew and in 2012 Patty became the lead colorist at her current salon. In 2013 Patty was invited to join the North America Davines Artistic Team. She is passionate about both hair and education. Patty plans to provide high quality education to her own apprentices so that they may also become assets to Love and Mercy Salon. She has a local, loyal customer base, and strong social media presence. Patty has the sales skills necessary to bring a large percentage of her current book to the new salon while winning new clients in the Seaport area and adjacent South Boston neighborhood. She was the selectee for the 2016 Boston Herald award for Best Redhead Color.
